Member Management Regulations

This section contains guidance on the member management regulations of GSL, a company that strives for mutual growth.

If an applicant submits registration documents to the company and is provided with a member number, he/she can register as a member and receive a member registration certificate and GSL Multilevel Salesperson's Handbook before acting as a multilevel salesperson.

Meaning of member qualification

Members are independent of the company's terms and conditions, compensation plan, product purchase, etc. as self-employed individuals that are legally responsible for any and all of their own actions.

Member Information Management
  1. Members must clearly state the details of their identity, sponsorship, and referral according to the form provided by the company, and members are responsible for any errors in the submitted documents.
  2. A member must notify the company immediately if there are any changes in his/her personal information, and the member is responsible for any and all outcomes resulting from failure to notify the company of such changes.
  3. With the consent of members, the company may provide necessary information to the company's affiliates and related organizations for better service provision and smooth business execution of the members. Regarding other individuals and companies that have nothing to do with the business, the company strives to prevent personal information leakage through personal information management.
Rules Regarding the Activities of Members
  1. The company provides the company's terms and conditions and product information through its website and various forms and promotional materials. Members should be familiar with the company's terms and conditions and information at the same time as member registration.
  2. Members should only deliver the information provided by the company and should not distort or exaggerate the contents.
  3. Members must continually carry out their training and management obligations for downline members. However, there shall be no compulsion with regards to sales and sponsorship activities.
Obligation to understand and communicate accurate information
  1. Members should provide information on the company's business opportunity to those who are interested in engaging in business activities with the company based on responsibility and trust.

Transfer of Membership

Membership is not transferable in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, Etc.However, in the event that a member dies or loses his/her ability to participate in the business, the member's position may be inherited by the relevant legal person in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

Matters that members must adhere to

Members of GSL Co., Ltd. must comply with the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, Etc., enforcement decrees, and enforcement regulations. In addition, as members of GSL Co., Ltd., members must read and understand the contents of this handbook.

Member Withdrawal

Withdrawal Information

If a member wishes to withdraw his/her membership, he/she may withdraw at any time by completing and submitting the “Membership Withdrawal Application” provided by the company. At this time, all submitted documents will not be returned, and the company or its sponsors may not deny the multilevel salesperson's intention to withdraw, or impose any conditions or cause any disadvantages due to withdrawal outside of the than the product return policy.

The changes in the rights of members who withdraw their membership are as follows.
  1. When a member withdraws, the member's rights and all performance are lost. However, any existing debt relationship with the company is maintained.
  2. All rights regarding downline members that were directly sponsored by the withdrawn and terminated member are lost.
  3. If a withdrawn member signs up for membership again, any rights held before termination of membership will not be restored.
  4. If necessary, the company may restrict the access to the company and participation in events after the termination date of a member whose membership has been terminated.
  5. In the case of termination or withdrawal, payment will be excluded even if the company's promotional conditions are met.
Disqualification
A salesperson is disqualified from being a salesperson in the following cases.
  1. If the person himself or herself withdraws from being a salesperson or member
  2. When dismissed under these regulations
  3. When qualification is lost due to withdrawal of subscription (returning products)
  4. In the case of disqualification under Article 21 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, etc.
  5. Inactive salesperson
    1. If there is no purchase or sales record for 180 days after registration as a salesperson
    2. If there is no purchase or sales within 180 days from the last purchase date
    3. However, this requirement is waived if the member continues to submit a business confirmation form.
Contents related to voluntary withdrawal and re-registration of members are as follows:
  1. If a member voluntarily withdraws, re-registration is possible after 6 months.
  2. Re-registration is not possible if the termination of the contract is determined according to the member disciplinary rules.

Member Activity Rules

1. Change of information
All members of GSL Co., Ltd. must fill out and submit a multi-level salesperson change application form (form prescribed by the company) when there is a change in personal details (address, contact information, account number, etc.) on the registration application form. Changing the deposit account is possible when attaching a copy of the member's ID card and a copy of the member's bank passbook to be changed. However, a member cannot change his/her sponsor or referrer.
2. Sales promotion and compensation
When all salespersons of GLS are qualified by the company, they can be promoted to a higher rank as determined by the criteria for the payment of compensation, and economic benefits can be obtained according to sales performance.
3. Obligation to prepare and store product purchase orders
In accordance with the Act on Door-to-Door Sales, Etc., all salespersons of GLS must issue a contract containing name, trade name, address, and telephone number when selling products to consumers.
4. Collection of compensation due to returns
  1. In the event that a product sold by the person and/or a downline member is returned, etc., causing liability to return the compensation paid by the sales person for the relevant case, GLS offsets the amount corresponding to the debt from the amount of compensation to be paid to the salesperson.
  2. If there are any debts that need to be recovered from a withdrawn or terminated salesperson, the company may recover the debts through due process in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
5. Business interruption
It is strongly prohibited for any person who was a salesperson for GSL that has joined another company in the same industry to seek to harm the business of our company by promoting the business of the company to salespersons affiliated with our company, to slander our company, spread rumors about our company, etc., and if such should occur, the company may terminate the salesperson's position if the facts are found by way of investigation into the facts.
6. Sales inventory reporting (Article 17, Paragraph 2 of the Act), etc.
Withdrawal of subscription (return of products) is not permitted if the salesperson holds excessive inventory of goods, etc., by falsely reporting to the company, if the goods are damaged to the extent that resale is not possible, if three months have elapsed since the contract date, and in other cases where such is not permitted under the relevant laws and regulations.
